My gourd bursts upon the canvas,
I’m thirsty for its balm of bliss,
As woven from my life’s tapestry.
My quill glides lazily, a throng,
As if this is my last song. The Enigmatic Tapestry of My Life
I peeked through nature’s pain and haze,
Wrestled with the world’s wild ways,
Babbles of the unknown now lay,
Pecking at my eyebrow, day by day.
Behold, I’m tickling time.
Like the weaverbird,
I’m the rising sun,
The crescent moon,
The unwritten poem,
Woven in life’s tapestry.
Upon the break of dawn,
The crow of the cock,
The lap of existence,
And the palm of the gods,
I blew out my birth flute.
I might be too green to see the angels,
Too frail to peak the hill that horn,
But on the shoulder of time,
I cradled love,
Not in weakness, but in grit.
Life can’t be bridled,
Life can’t be conquered,
Life can’t be eluded,
Life is life, forevermore.
Let’s raise a toast, even at dusk.
