Poem: “Precious, I am”

Precious, I am,

yes, I am a woman

fair sex,

a symbol of glory

and delicacy.

Yes, a woman –

molded with love

fragile but strong

flimsy at moments –

the moments of love.

Love for my family,

love for my loved ones.

Dynamic,

with built-in beauty,

not superior

precious enough.

Loved by my papa

cared by my hubby

loved by my children

yes, a woman –

a vigorous personage

to the last breath.

Published as a tribute to women on International Women’s Day.
