Poem: “A Little Girl’s Smile”

A little girl,

with a smiling face

and tattered clothes

on her.

Bare-footed,

she walks

slowly

on the carpeted road.

Watching around

luxury vehicles

loaded with

the aristocracy,

Lost in their own world

the world of selfishness,

none of them bothers

to understand her

The pain of the girl

behind her smile

the excruciating

smile!
