Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by 57 runs in the second T20 International match, claiming the three-match series as they posted more than two hundred runs successively.
Despite a good start, the visiting cricket team could not cope with the pressure and finished with a total of 144 runs in 19 overs.
Bangladesh started their 202 run-chase with a good start from openers Tanzeed Hasan and Parvez Hossain. However, Pakistan paceman Haris Rauf broke the visitors’ momentum when he had Parvez Hossain caught by Hassan Ali.
Captain Liton Das scored 6 runs, this time Haris paid off fellow fast bowler Hassan Ali’s debt, taking a catch.
For Pakistan, Abrar Ahmed took 3 wickets for just 19 runs in 4 overs.
Batting first, Pakistan made 201 runs.

Interestingly, this was the third 201 run total on the ground. In the first match too, Pakistan had made 201 runs for 6 wickets on Wednesday.
Before the first encounter between Pakistan and Bangladesh Quetta Gladiators scored 201 runs against Lahore Qalandars in the PSL 10 final on May 25.
Opener Sahibzada Farhan’s hit his maiden T20 half-century.
He scored a brilliant 74 run innings off 41 balls. Apart from him, Hassan Nawaz played an unbeaten inning of 51 runs off 26 balls. Mohammad Haris scored 41 runs off 25 balls.
Left-handed sensation Saim Ayub could chalk up just 4 runs while Salman Ali Agha scored 19 runs.
