Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is expected urge the international community to resolve the situations of prolonged occupation in Palestine and Indian-administered Kashmir, where a militant attack this summer heightened tensions between the two South Asian nuclear powers.
President Trump said he influenced the two countries to end their three-day conflict and announced a ceasefire on May 10.
Islamabad has been appreciative of Trump’s role while India has contradicted the statement that the U.S. president brokered a ceasefire between the two countries.

The Foreign Office said PM Shehbaz will, in particular, draw the attention of the international community towards the grave crisis in Gaza, and call for decisive action to end the suffering of the Palestinians.
He will also highlight “Pakistan’s perspective on the regional security situation, as well as other issues of international concern, including climate change, terrorism, Islamophobia, and sustainable development.”
